| Kink Test |
[11 Jul 2009|12:30am] |
Impressive ... my result from my kink test ... it's kinkier than I thought ... is that a good result or a bad result? ... I can't decide, enjoy!
Your result for The Kink Spectrum Analysis Test... Blue (450 nm)
Wow! You have quite a big repertoire when it comes to kinky sex. And you're probably also willing to play on either side of the fence. You should look for another Blue, or an Ultraviolet if you want to broaden your horizon. Greens may be okay as well but will probably bore you after a while. Reds are too vanilla for you. But I promised you a more detailed analysis, so here it is. Note that most scales are twofold: There are separate values for giving (active) and receiving (passive). If you scored high on one of them, you should look for a partner who scored high on the other. If you scored high on both of them, go for someone who is similar (or for multiple partners if you're into that). If you scored low on both, this probably is not your kind of kink. You scored 72% giving and 38% receiving on oral. You scored 56% giving and 70% receiving on anal. You scored 15% giving and 50% receiving on bondage. You scored 41% giving and 33% receiving on humiliation. You scored 22% giving and 35% receiving on pain. You scored 42% dominance and 45% submission. You scored 58% voyeurism and 33% exhibitionism. Besides that, you're 38% into fetishism and 56% polysexual (i.e. interested in sex with multiple partners, whether at the same time or not). You'll probably want a partner who is similar, whether you scored high or low in these categories. Finally, you scored 30% on autoerotic - a scale that measures your ability and/or willingness to have kinky fun without a partner. It's not exactly a matching criterion, but it's good for you if your score is high. Keep it up! Take The Kink Spectrum Analysis Test at HelloQuizzy

| Sharon Walker |
[11 May 2008|01:00pm] |
Her favorite drink is Diet Coke and Bacardi light. Her favorite opera is Phantom, but only if we drive into Canada overnight and see it for real. Her favorite hair color is brunette. She always smells like a goddess and makes the best chocolate chip cookies on earth. She took my sister and I into her home when I was a baby when my mother was paralyzed in a car accident. She raised us until I was six and has since always been my "other mother". When we moved to Texas she always comes to visit and flew in special just to watch my graduation. She died this morning. 5:30 am. Freak massive heart attack. She was the healthiest person I know/shit/knew. Total left field. God, what were you thinking!?! ( pics ) I'm having a hard time thinking of her in past tense. It is not my imagination that it hurts more because it's mother's day. From now on it'll always be the day that Aunt Sharon died. I hereby shitlist everything on earth until further notice.

Companion Mix tapes to go with this post. This is 7 1/2 hours of what I consider danceable indie music. And I mean indie as a style of music, and not that the artists are independent. You'll prolly hate fully half of it at first listen, but you'll look cool when your friends mention their new favorite obscure band and you've already been rocking it for months, which is of course the only reason to listen to indie music. /sarcasm. I'm not even gonna try to tag this, but it's good. In a round about way, this comic goes along with it, because ... these mixtapes were born out of waiting in line and having nothing to entertain me but my Zune mp3 player.

( Follow me to the mp3 indie goodness )

| We're Only Doing What The Cramps Taught Us (Mixtape) |
[24 Apr 2008|01:47pm] |

This is the magical home of the upright bass, tacky suits, and all types of persons with a penchant for inappropriate over usage of the apostrophe. Surf Rock, Psychobilly and Rockabilly. These artists are not as mainstream as, say, The Stray Cats, Toy Dolls, Reverend Horton Heat or The Cramps, but they're still well worth a listen.

Track Notes: 01: Is actually two separate tracks by this Aussie band that I combined for the purpose of having an instrumental surf rock intro, but I couldn't pick between them so, you know what they say, "Can't beat 'em ... join 'em." 08: Is actually a very interesting punk/rockabilly cover of the song by the same title that's been around for ... decades, but was made popular by today's standards by appearing in the motion picture O' Brother Where Are Thou? It was attributed to the fictitious band The Soggy Bottom Boys, that was lead primarily by Dan Tyminski who's mostly known for his work with Alison Krauss. 12: Any song that starts with a revving car engine = gold. 21: This is one of only 2 chicks with lead vox on this whole mix. Track 5 being the other of course. And any song featuring a comic book sidekick is more than alright by me.
09, 11, 14, 15 ,16, and 22 are all associated with a coolness so great that it requires the complete and utter ignoration of the letter 'g'. (and yes, in my world, ignoration is a word.)

This is not my doing. This mix was actually posted a long time (years) ago by Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy lyricist/bassist) on his livejournal in an entry about him missing his someone special. An entry that I copied over, assembled, burned and still listen to when I'm lonely. His journal and subsequent entry, to my knowledge, are no longer in existence or I'd link you to them, but ... you'll just have to take my word for it. He said, and I quote:
"Burn. And Play. Repeat play. In The Dark." Him posting this was my first introduction to the bands; Kent (swede pop), Now It's Overhead (kooky emo), and Damnation AD (recently reunited hardcore). They've all grown into some of my personal favorites. Also, as far as the mix itself is concerned ... Timeless. To me, every song's a gem, and that fact alone makes this mix timeless. I tried to post this last night when I was wracked with this crushing bout of longing, missing my own someone special that prompted me to break out this mix and listen to it to soothe myself. But I couldn't. Thankfully my Internet Service Provider was MIA all night so my super pathetic/ultra needy 'miss you, wish you were here, blah blah suburban yearning, blah, blah blah,' e-mails remain unsent. Even though the longing peaked at about four this morning and has started to recede I still feel like I have to post this and link my special someone to it. It's almost like it is evidence of ... what I'm not sure, but it's proof none-the-less.

Zombie Catz

Our house hosts the annual Halloween Bash, and I do mean bash ... everyone we know makes it over because we're the only neighborhood in our town that the kids trick-or-treat in ... do mostly to the fact that there's a lot of houses with kids (so you know they're all handing out candy), and they're all 'run-from-one-to-the-next' spaced. If you didn't get a real invitation or an e-vite ... consider this your invitation and get your costumed ass to the house on Halloween 'round 'bout darkish. Anyway, last year ... we played the local rock station on the radio ... blah ... shuffle ... super blah, they suck! This year I'm in charge of the music and thought I'd share what I came up with. (four hours of holiday goodness) Some are classics ... some are homemade (and funny). Some are more recent and some's punk or pop from the seventies. Sounds ... odd? Well, that's what Halloween's about, duh. They're all guaranteed to make you smile, boogie down and bring back some memories of Halloweens passed (death pun intended), and they're all guaranteed to have witches, ghosts, someone being gnawed on, decapitated or stabbed with a lawn dart as the subject ... and they're all nice-n-creepy and player friendly mp3's ... ... ... Oh, and FREE!
( Frankenweenie goodness under the cut!!! )

| Joke about toast, even if it's not, the tastey bread savior that I worship, it's still funny |
[15 Aug 2007|08:19am] |
An Irishman was out drinking at a bar with a few of his mates. One suggested they have a competition of who could make the best toast, and the winner get a free beer. Finally it was the Irishman's turn, who was very drunk by then, and said 'to my wife - for all the times I've been between her legs'. He won the competition and scored a free beer.
When he stumbled home, he told his wife he had won the best toast competition. 'what did you toast?' asked his wife. Feeling guilty, he replied 'to my wife, who has always been there to take me to church'. 'That's nice' she replied.
The following day, his wife was in town and saw one of his drinking buddies. 'Did you hear your husband won the toast competition!' his friend asked. 'Yes', said the wife. 'Although he's only ever been in there twice - the first time he fell asleep and the second time I had to pull him in by his ears'.
Ahhhhh ahahahahaha ahahahahaha

Okay, I got like a 47%. Too easily duped. Thank goodness I don't have kids. There's no telling the damage I could do if left to hire their nanny.
EDIT: (04/11/09) I just retook this almost two years later, for shits and giggles. I got a 68%. I feel a little better, but you still shouldn't call me to babysit because my neighbor might be sexin' up your spawn and I would never see it coming.
"You guessed 13 of 19 correctly (%68.4). Your grade: C. Out of 2,921,101 people who took this test, the average score is: %48.4"
